CAIM‘  – (pronounced as seen: ‘came‘).

This is a Celtic word. A Caim is a circle that one draws around oneself as a means of protection. This is done by extending your right arm and pointing it towards the ground then, using your index finger, drawing a circle around yourself in a clockwise direction.

You may speak a prayer or words of comfort if you like; some find that invoking or speaking to a deity (if you are so inclined) helps you become aware of the powers and protection that now envelope you.

You are encircled by the power in which you believe. You are protected. You are safe.
